|Pattern Description: "Create custom-fit leggings in a flash! The innovative Espresso template from Cake RiFFs makes it simple — just measure, mark, and connect the dots for a pattern that fits just right and sews up quickly. Elastic waistband slips smoothly beneath other layers."|
Pattern Sizing: 25"-55" waist, but you custom draw it to fit.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes!
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes. She had multiple options and explained how to measure and draft the leggings well.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I liked that I could custom fit it.
Fabric Used: High Performance Jersey Knit Black from Fabric.com, a poly/lycra blend with about 50% stretch each way.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I chose not to hem the bottoms.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes and yes. I might see about more of a prominent seat adjustment, though.
Conclusion: A really nice basic that lets one customize well.
By the way, in the full body picture, I sewed (or knit, in the case of the socks) everything I'm wearing. The shirt is Jalie 2682, the crop top (barely visible at the zipper) is Jalie 3247, the skirt is Jalie 2796, and the leggings are Cake Espressos.
