Absolutely gorgeous! The buttons are my favorite. I bought Claire Shaeffer's new book on Chanel style jackets. One day;)

Gorgeous jacket. It shows the time spent on it. The buttons are a subtle wink to it. Great find.

This is absolutely beautiful. I love the fabric, trim and the buttons. Did you make the trim?

Yes, I made the trim crocheting together pulled out yarn from the fashion fabric and eyelash yarn in the same colour.

Stunning. I , too, would love to hear more about the trim and whether you made it. Such a perfect match! The buttons are a clever reminder of all your hard work.

Jstarr, the trim is really just a crochet chain combining pulled out yarn from the fashion fabric and matching colour eyelash yarn. Underneath the trim is a 7mm wide Petersham base (a rayon trim that can be steamed into shape, this technique is mentioned in Claire Shaeffer's instructions). The Petersham is completely covered by the trim, but I used this technique because it ensures that the front edge is nicely flat and straight)
