Drop pocket open front cardigan that hits just below the hips. The sleeve is fitted and designed to be worn over a sleeveless top or dress. The double-layer front provides a great finish and allows the use of constrast fabric where the inside of the cardigan becomes the outside of the pocket. A quick "instant gratification" project!
27 sizes, from 2years to a 22. I made a 6.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes it did.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
I'm new to sewing and had to read some of the instructions several times and taking it one small step at a time. In the end I managed to make myself a cardigan, but for a beginner the instructions are not so easy to follow.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I really like the pockets and the back neck facing.
Organic cotton jersey.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I shortened the body about 2in using the line in the pattern. Cut off about 4in on the sleeves.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, I'd love to make one with contrasting fabric for the pockets/fronts.
Really nice pattern with some great details.
