Pattern Description: Easy to make knit top with crossover neckline and choice of short or 3/4 length sleeves.
Pattern Sizing: 22 sizes total from 2T-22 ~ I made a size R
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes!
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, they were super easy and it goes together very quickly.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? This is another TNT top for me. I have made quite a few of these tops since I got the pattern in 2007 and my favorite part still is it's a crossover top that doesn't gape open.
Fabric Used: ITY knit from Fabric.com that has been in my stash a few years. I had always planned to make this top with the fabric, but it sure took me a while.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: For this top, I lengthen the sleeves 3 5/8" and also lengthened the body 3". The original pattern is pretty short, but that was the style when it was drafted in 2004.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I will absolutely sew this pattern again and again. I love that it's super easy and it's a style that I love. If it's your style too, better grab or you'll be sorry.
Conclusion: A pattern that is nearly 10 years old and still works today. That is my definition of a classic!
