Pattern Description: A lined baby dress or tunic sweater with cowl neck
Pattern Sizing: 62-92 cm. This version is a 92 which added length to the sleeve under the arm.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? No, and I normally find Ottobre instructions clear and concise. I did put a tutorial on my blog post today here.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the style and the fact that it is lined and plenty warm for my temperature-sensitive daughter.
Fabric Used: A deconstructed sweater for the outside and a cotton jersey for the lining and a cotton ribbing for the sleeve and cuffs.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I added about 1 1/2" to the sleeve length.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? This is my fifth version and I will be making more in the immediate future as it is starting to get cooler here and none of my daughters really have any sweaters that fit.
Conclusion: It's a great little sweater and I'll keep making it as long as my girls need sweaters and are willing to wear this one.
