|Pattern Description: Midi or maxi sundress with two bodice choices, designed for knits|
Pattern Sizing: L-XL-XXL (I made XL, I think)
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? More or less, except for my mods
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, quite.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? This was an easy pattern with straight-forward construction. This was my first experience with the tons of ease in big 4 patterns I've read about so much. This size worked well because I wasn't using a knit, but I have a knit picked out for another version, and I would definitely size down to a L, at least in the bodice.
Fabric Used: Robert Kaufman Dot Chambray
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: Made up in a woven instead of a knit, which worked fine given the generous ease. I also added a faux button placket to the front.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes to both, though with the sizing caveats above.
Conclusion: A great basis sundress pattern that offers multiple wearable variations.
