Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Very easy pattern to sew and simple lines offer many embellishment opportunities.
Fabric Used: Sweater Knit from my stash.
How I did it: I used a quilt binding stencil, which I drew on sticky backed, water-soluble stabilizer. Then cut and manipulated the drawn design to fit the edges of my sweater. I used variegated yarn (again from my stash), and sewed it down using my machines couching foot with a zigzag stitch.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes & Yes!
Conclusion: This was the first time I attempted machine couching and I'm really happy with the way it turned out. Will definitely use the pattern again and try some different embellishment techniques.
