|Pattern Description: |
Misses' pullover tunics or tops with sleeve and tie variations, have an empire waist, a bias lower bodice and a low V-neck with inset.
I made view B, without a sash.
I used size 10 and 12.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, both tops look like the picture, but the sash and loops are omitted. They also have a contrasting front inset and an exposed bias neck binding.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, they were clear and very helpful.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love the front inset and how it is attached and sewn to the upper bodice. I also like the flutter sleeves.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
The tops were sewn in size 12 and the side seams in one size smaller.
The upper edge of the inset was raised by 1 3/4" and the length of the lower bodice shortened by 1 3/4"
The sash and loops were omitted.
Slim bias tie ends, as seen on views B and D, were sewn to the upper bodice at the side seams.
Both tops have a contrast inset and the neckline edge is finished with an exposed bias binding.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others
This was the second and the third time I have used the pattern. I might sew it again, this time with kimono sleeves.
I would still recommend this pattern to others. Nice looks can be created by combining different views.
Great tunic and top pattern.
