Finished Garment Photo
I made VIEW B.
I purchased the L/XL packet, then after reading other reviews, exchanged it for the smaller size pattern set, and made a medium--a wise decision, because there is plenty of ease with this pattern (uhhhh, it's made of stretchy fabric).
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
YES, sans sequins/sexy heels.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
It allows me to make a cute pair of tights for ~$5 in under an hour. What's not to like?
BONUS: I can also feel smug when I wear them around someone who paid $39 for similar sweater tights from Urban Outfitters
I took a page from Etcetorize's review, and tried a sweater knit-type material (with a 4 way stretch) from JoAnn.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I brought them in at the knee, because I'm not about the scrunchy look.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes and yes.
What a great, fast and simple sewing project to bring me back to sewing printed patterns after a 4 year hiatus.
