These are both absolutely gorgeous. What a fantastic job. I love the fringe on the one and the piping on the other. It is always amazing to me that the same pattern can look so different in different fabrics and trim. Great job.

WOW! So many beautiful design elements that you added to make these jackets great. The placement of the fringe was inspired and a unique take on a much used embellishment.

Your jackets are fantastic. I saw this pattern the other day, the top and skirt caught my eye, but not the jacket. You have changed that!

Great jackets. As Amelie said, the way you used the fringe is an original variation on the current fashions. Is this pattern just recently out here? I don't remember seeing it before.

Kathleen, this pattern won't be available here in Oz until June, according to the Simplicity web site. I wanted it so bad, a friend sent it to me from the US :)))

WOW! What a gorgeous jacket! The details you added are fabulous! I went through your entire photo album and I'm SO impressed with all your sewing! Very inspirational! I also see what you mean about using a print for the twist top! Even though I'm much larger on top than you, I'll try your suggestion (on my review) and see if a print is more wearable for my body type! Thanks so much for all the "eye candy"!! Fantastic!!

Both jackets are gorgeous!! I so hope to have enough time to make myself an outfit for my DD's wedding in two months and I would love to have this jacket. What does a size 42 compare to in the the big 4 range? Thanks for this very helpful review.
