|Pattern Description: |
Misses' front buttoned V-neck blouses, with dropped shoulders and slit or extending shoulders turning into short flutter sleeves, have collar variations, side hemline slits and back tie ends.
I made view A, the blouse with flutter sleeves and no collar.
I cut and sewed in size 10 instead of my regular 12.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, they all look the same as the drawing.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, they were easy to understand.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like everything about this button down blouse: the V-neckline, the short narrow hemmed flutter sleeves, the ties inserted into the two back darts and the side slits. I have no dislikes.
I used a Rayon Challis fabric to make:
and a blend of Linen and Rayon to do Blouse #5
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I sewed the blouses in one size smaller than usually.
The front V-neck has been raised by 1" and tie ends have been sewn to the back 1" higher (Petite adjustment).
Blouse #5 is back elasticized between the two darts.Click Here
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others
I have made this view five times and I would like to sew it again, this time with a collar and front flounce. I would also like to try the other views. The blouses were so easy to construct.
I would recommend this pattern to others.
Great pattern with six easily made blouses.
