Pattern Description: Loose-fitting, pullover tops have draped front, and back collar. Wrong side may show. A: self-lined back and very narrow hem for front hemline. B and C: front pleated drape and narrow hem.
I made view C. My top is unhemmed in the photos because I'm still deciding if I want to finish it or not.
Pattern Sizing:Y(XSmall-Small-Medium), ZZ(Large-XLarge-XXLarge) I made a Small going out to a medium at the hip.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, that neckline is really low. It's easy to extend it up and you can even do it after the shirt is made.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes. I had no problem.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? It was FAST. I should have basted it together like the pattern said and then serged...but I just blindly serged because I didn't want to take the time...sigh. My lower sleeves are too tight....and I think one of them is slightly off grain.
Fabric Used:Some sort of jersey knit that I've had forever. I must have bought 10 or more yards of this stuff because this is the 4th shirt that I've made out of it.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:none.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?Ehh, I don't know. I'm not sure I like it. I like drapey tops like this in theory and on other people, but when I wear them, I just feel overwhelmed with fabric. I also think the side view is not very flattering. Perhaps if I made a straight small, it might be better.
Conclusion: If you like this style, this is definitely a pattern to have. It's quick and relatively easy. But...be sure to baste it together first!
