Pattern Description: Loose fitting jacket with kimono sleeves.
Pattern Sizing: I made a 16, but took in the front & back 1.25 inches on each side. Like any Vogue pattern that's loose fitting, you could safely go down 2 sizes. I didn't but the pattern myself, so I had to make do with what I had.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I thought it was just another kooky pattern but made up, it is so flattering.
Fabric Used: Crepe, lightweight tweed and rayon are recommended, but I used a stable double knit.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I made the front and back narrower to bring the shoulder seams into the right place for me.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I would!
Conclusion: I was really surprised how much I liked this when I finished it. This pattern is a real sleeper. Try it!!
