|Pattern Description: |
Sleepwear for women. Includes robe, nightgown, pant, top and short patterns. I made the robe
Xsm-Sml-Med. I made Med.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, but I'm a complete novice. For some reason it took me forever to figure out what they meant in the part where I had stitch down the front facings.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
This was only my second big sewing project. It seems like there were just enough new things to do that I hadn't done before, like darts and hems. I like the top stitching.
100% Cotton Flannel
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I did not alter the pattern, but I did shorten the sleeves 4" and shorten the hem 4" before I finished it to fit my wife.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I may have to. After family members saw my sewing, they were wondering if they could get on my Christmas list.
I'm a complete novice at sewing, but had a success with this robe. It was simple to do once I figured out what the GLOSSARY words meant. I found out I don't care for hemming, but I do like fusible webbing. I have a long way to go, but this pattern helped me learn a lot.
