|Pattern Description: |
'Skinny jeans with regular waist and front seams. Nice and unusual front pockets. The thin pocket panel can be made of back side of denim or any other contrasting material. Choose an elastic denim. '
34-44. I bought size 38-40 (10-12) and made size 38.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Were the instructions easy to follow?
In patches. This is the second time I have made these and I overcame my previous issues with the instructions this time by following the comprehensive photos by Jennifer R. Thanks Jennifer!
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love the design details and finish of these jeans and the pattern works very well. No dislikes now I have my photo instructions!
Grey, polka dot fabric in poly/rayon/lycra from Gorgeous fabrics.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I widened the lower legs by around 2cm as this was a bit tight-fitting on my first pair. I also added approximately 12cm to the length.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, I can definitely see me making more pairs of these and I hope others do too.
This is still my favourite jeans pattern. I love the fit and style. The overall effect is very ready-to-wear and they're comfortable.
