I think some of the techniques would be the same for the children's patterns. I plan to make the boxers from this pattern for my DS, so I may review that pattern view sometime soon.

Mary, thanks for reviewing this portion of the pattern! After making (and reviewing) the vest and t-shirt included in the pattern, I was starting to consider trying out the briefs but wasn't too sure if I should bother. After hearing of your success, I think I will!

Mary, thanks so much for this review. I embarked on sewing this pattern and was absolutely stumped by the front flap assembly. I am going to toss that UFO and try again following your thorough and helpful directions for modifying the pattern.

Mary, thank you for the review! I made briefs for my DH this weekend from another KS pattern that does not have the front flap. Thank you for the encouragement, I will post a review tomorrow!

I just enhanced the photos, including color correction on the "green and yellow" ones!

Thanks for the review and instructions for your modifications. The front flap/fly has put me off making men's undies, but your modifications simplify the sewing. I always make my own, form a much-modified and fine-tuned old KS 1380 pattern.
