Karla, I started with a really long zipper and ended up using 23". I try to always buy the longest separators that I can for my stash. I'm never sure exactly how long a zipper I'll need after I do the FBA! I made the same adjustments to the collar. I really like it this way so I'm going to go ahead and alter the pattern.
Sue, I just sewed one side, then chalk marked the match points on the other side. Sometimes if a fabric is slithery I'll machine-tack all the match points in place before I start. 6/20/05 7:44 AM

Just Lovely. Love the idea of stripes and the zipper to the top of the collar. I have made about 7 of these from size 4 to 14 and the hoodie is my favorite. It's a great pattern.
