Great jacket! Yes, Burda men's patterns have this weird quirk. The lengths go up according to the size, so if you're sewing for a slim person who is not on the short side, you'll have to adjust. I normally make size 34 or 36 for my son, but he's about 5'9" (the height they give on the size chart for someone a couple of sizes bigger), so I adjust the length accordingly.

Im making this now and Im confused on the collar part. Its mainly the back facing (pattern facing 7) connecting with the jacket and upper and lower collars.
