After looking at the pattern link I can't wait to see your skirt. I love your description of this pattern - that it "makes boring fabrics sing". I have some fabrics that need to sing too.:)

onion are a danish patterncompany. Maria sells it, but I think the instructions are still in danish

Hi Karin, the skirt looks great! I also bought this pattern, now I really want to make one too! Another bonus of this pattern - it is only printed on one side of the paper, so I am going to cut mine out instead of tracing it!

I think that shade of blue is lovely. I don't think it is boring at all, it looks very beautiful to me. Great style. I love it.
