|Pattern Description: |
Semi fitted, tapered pants
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
yes with the exception that I cut a facing for the waist instead of using the waistband
Were the instructions easy to follow?
I didn't use the instructions.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like that it is a fast and easy pattern that once I get the fit alaterations worked out will be a go to pattern.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I did my usual sway back adjustment which after construction I realized it did not need. I also did a fish eye dart to the back leg for the bagginess under the seat. The pants are a little snug and they look like they are riding up in the picturebut feel comfortable. I think when I make the next pair and add a little to the side seams through the waist and hips this will correct itself.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?Yes, I will sew it again. I would reccomend it but I thin it would need to be understood that it would need a little adjustment.
This pair of paints is a wearable muslin and I will redo some of the adjustment for the next pair of pants as well as add extra to the side seams. I can see myself using this pattern to make multiple capris for spring and summer.
