Fabric:Cotton-Lycra Knit  [See other projects in this fabric]
Pattern Description: two full slips, a cami, and a hlaf slip

Pattern Sizing: 10-22

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? yes

Were the instructions easy to follow? yes

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I am way to cheap to go buy slips like this (plus I am rather well-endowed so I like to be able to customize the fit).

Fabric Used: black and white performance knit in a cotton-spandex blend

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: none except cutting the top half larger than the bottom half (grading between sizes based on measurements)

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? yes - already sewed it twice - the white one, sewn second came out perfect because I figured out why I had just a little gaping on the black one. I didn't stretch the FOE enough when sewing. I fixed it with a couple of tucks on the black one.

Conclusion: Great basic piece! I plan to wear these under knit dressed when I don't want to worry about cleavage or shine-through.

Great basic slips! But really, Sandi, do you have little elves helping you out? I'm always amazed at how much sewing you get done.

Thanks for the review Sandi! I have an hard-to-fit chest (large rib cage, small tata's) and a very long waist. There is no way I could ever find a slip like this in RTW. I'm glad to know it worked well for you! Looks great!

Add some pearls. Earrings, a bracelet and shoes and you can go out on the town with this. It looks wonderful on you.
