Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope?
Yes, it pretty much did. More pictures and info on my blog.
Were the instructions easy to follow? As far as I can recall, yes, they were, but I didn't finish the bottom as instructed, I just did what made the most sense.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I didn't think that the placement of the darts in a straight line were very flattering, and didn't do much to give the shirt any real shape. I really hated the neck facing, and didn't end up using one. I liked the side slits, and that it was fast and easy to put together (aside from my own mistakes--first time attempting French seams).
Fabric Used: Cotton, gifted to me. Finally found the right thing to make out of this one!
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: Omitted the neck facing and rolled the hem at the neck instead.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Sure, if this is what you are looking to sew. It is kind of a straight shirt, though. Might benefit from a belt or something?
Conclusion: I think this one might grow on me, it is very comfortable, but the fabric will feel better after a couple more washings.
