Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Kind of. I didn't do the bow thing.

Were the instructions easy to follow? I'm sure they were, but with so few pattern pieces (I used 3) it was so easy to see how it would all go together.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Thank goodness for the front gathers, or else it would be a real bag. Not sure I like how the gathered area starts so abruptly halfway down the front neckline.

Fabric Used: Some semi-sheer lightweight I found at Walmart years ago for $1.50/yard. Loved this fabric, with the pastel plaid pattern. It was the end of the bolt though, and 1 1/2 yards at 38 inches wide was all I had to work with. Turned out to be plenty though.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I didn't do the bow on the front, or finish the front as instructed in the pattern, I really don't like sewing gathered areas, so I sewed the seam and then gathered. This will probably bite me in the hiney later, but, it seemed like the right thing to do at the time.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I probably wouldn't sew it again, but you never know.

Conclusion: It made an OK flowing lightweight shirt that will be good in the summer (layered).
