Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Were the instructions easy to follow?
This was the first time I made a Jalie pattern, so I was not used to the way a Jalie pattern is laid out. It was easy to follow once I figured it out! The written directions are separately printed from the visual directions.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I wanted a jacket that looked exactly like this. I was so glad I found a pattern that was exactly what I was looking for.
Fleece-lined activewear knit from Fabric Mart. (No longer available.)
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I did not make any changes to the jacket.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes and yes!
The pattern came together really easily. Mostly all of the seams are top-stitched for a great ready-to-wear look. I chose to line the pockets with a lighter weight knit, rather than selecting the same fabric I used for the jacket. You can read about my jacket on my blog.
