Fabric:Sweater Knit  [See other projects in this fabric]
Pattern Description: Misses tunic with raglan sleeves.

Pattern Sizing: Bust 32-55; I sewed one size smaller than my measurements. It fit well though a little snug compared to the first version of this I made due to less ease in the fabric.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Not quite, it looked like the tunic, with the collar for the short top.

Were the instructions easy to follow? They were but they do assume some sewing knowledge. I've noticed this with other Sandra Betzina patterns. The instructions are not difficult to follow, but assume you know how to do various stitches, how to attach elastic etc. Not as much hand holding as some other patterns but nothing a simple google won't help you figure out.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love the 2 cowl neck designs & the scrunching effect on the sleeves for the tunic.

Fabric Used: A wool blend sweater knit.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I added length to the tunic to make it more of a dress as I was trying to make a 'little white sweater dress' but I should have added more as it turned out a little shorter than I normally wear my dresses. I will still get plenty of wear out of it as it looks really nice with boots and perfect for winter.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? This is the 2nd time I've sewn this up and strongly recommend it to others. It comes together very quickly, is very comfortable & looks great.

Conclusion: Very easy tunic that can easily be lengthened to a dress or shortened to a top. Very versatile.

That turned out very nice in a sweater knit. I bet Sandra Betzina would be happy to see her pattern have such a hot look. ;)

I don't know which. View I like better, the hot red shoes, or the barefoot photo! It looks nice and you look like you are enjoying wearing it!

I like the fabric and cosiness of this sweater dress. I love that your entry is a little bit different as it's designed for colder weather rather than warm.
