Pattern Description:
This T-shirt is specifically made for petites, so no more t-shirts that can double as a tunic or hang out below a cardigan. Neckline is sexy, but not so much as you have to be in fear of bending over.
Pattern Sizing:
XXS - L or XL - 3X
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow?
I lost them, so I didn't use them. I know the instructions had you sew the neckline binding on straight, before sewing the second shoulder seam, but I did mine in the round. Next time I'll try it their way.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Nothing to dislike at all, except I thought the neckline band a bit narrow.
Fabric Used:
A rayon/cotton blend knit I have no idea from where I purchased.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
My bust varies between 41 and 43, so I cut the 1X. After sewing the sleeve in flat, and the sides at 3/8 inches on the sewing machine, it was too large. I wound up removing about a quarter inch on each side, with the serger. Next time I think that the XL will be perfect. I don't like a skin tight tee.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Absolutely. It's great to have a tee that fit with no adjustments. I love that there are no darts. The shoulder seam is just a tiny tad longer than it should be in the 1X, so I'm sure that the XL will rectify that. It isn't long enough to worry about. I will get much use from this one.
Conclusion:
Several years back, I tried another petite pattern company for a tee shirt, and it was a wadder - shoulders, shoulders to bust, armholes - all hung badly. In other words, it wasn't truly petite and was a wadder. This pattern is free, and fits great. What more could a girl want?

Love this, had no idea it was free. Thanks for all the fit info. When you have the tweaking to suit your likes, you have a perfect tnt. Do try the side seam thing on the neck. I had a rtw that I loved and inspected and it was closed at the shoulder so there was no join. I take a needle and thread and take a few stitches at the serged seam so it is always hidden and you never see the join when wearing. Thanks again for showing off this pattern, Make lots of them.
