|Pattern Description: |
MISSES' JUMPSUITS IN TWO LENGTHS AND SASH: A: Fitted with bias tape neck and armhole finish. B, C: Close-fitting bodice at bust. D: Semi-fitted bodice. All views have elasticized waistline.
I made View A for an easy summer weekend outfit.
I used the XS for the bodice and S for the trouser part.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes it did and the great thing with this patter is it's easy to make.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
They were easy to follow so no complaints here for View A.
If I made the halter views, I would add the bra lining from Melissa Fehr Trade's XYT workout top.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love View A for an easy to wear summer weekend outfit.
I don't have full reach across my back so I've added a ribbon to the pull of the back zipper.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I've shortened the front bodice because of the fabric but i would keep the length for a softer cotton fabric.
The bodice matches my bodice block so I knew there would be no gaping.
I added a deeper centre back crotch curve. The rest of the pattern is standard.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Oh yes. Here's the write up so you can see how great this is for the summer on the beach.
This pattern needs to be loose so you can wear it and 'live in it'. The sash gives you a waist so if you want a more defined waist, make the sash wider.
