Pattern Description:
Simple dress with darts and back zip, and side seam pockets.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, except I chose to omit sleeves
Were the instructions easy to follow?
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I do love this pattern - it's my second Peony, and I like the fact it looks very different without the sleeves.
Fabric Used:
A lightweight cotton - I lined with a light cotton
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
No sleeves.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Without the sleeves, this dress fitted me a lot better, which makes me think that I didn't have enough underarm room with the sleeves set in place on my first Peony. I'm really happy with it. I've included a picture of my muslin, showing the horizontal band of excess fabric I stitched out of the bodice. I don't know if this is the right way to approach fitting, but it did work for me on this particular pattern. There's a little bit more on my blog

Lovely choice of fabric, it's made a rather prim and proper pattern into a very fun dress!

What a pretty dress! Thanks for the fitting tips. I have issues with extra room in the bust with Colette patterns. Looks like your fix might work well for me too.

Very cute dress. I've had problems with the bust area in Colette patterns as well and need to take them in similar to your alterations. The tuck you removed on the front bust area looks like it did the trick! Great job.
