Pattern Description:
BLANKIES: Five 91/2"W. x 24"L. animal blankies. Alligator Blankie A. Bear Blankie B. Dog Blankie C. Cat Blankie D. Lion Blankie E. All views have contrast sections and belly. I made view D, the Cat blankie

Pattern Sizing:
One size

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow?
Ish. Not difficult but several of the steps refer you back to steps from an earlier view. You are never instructed to cut out the belly contrast fabric for view D.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I did not realize just how small the blankies are until I got started. Not a dislike, and I should have paid attention to the dimensions, which are clearly listed.

Fabric Used:
I used organic 100% cotton sweatshirt fleece for the main body, 100% cotton quilting material for the contrast on the arms, legs and belly, and both the felt for the facial features and the quilt batting are made from recycled soda bottles.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
The only change I made was to cut a symmetrical heart to applique onto the belly, rather than use the wonky shaped heart that the pattern provided.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Definitely! I plan to make the alligator for sure, and would consider the other views as well.

Conclusion:
A fun pattern that really lends itself to personalization! Time-consuming due to all the applique, but other than that it goes together quickly.
