Pattern Description:
Loose fitting, pullover top has collar band, shaped hemline, and narrow hem.
Pattern Sizing:
8-24W, I made a size 10
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I wanted to copy a style I saw in a magazine and this style came close, there was a lot of hand stitching inside which gives it a clean finish but did take more time
Fabric Used:
Cotton chambray with tiny polka dots, from Joann Fabrics, Lisette collection
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I combined the elements of several views, shortened the bodice .5" and the sleeves 3.25", made a small broad back adjustment (all typical adjustments for me) and widened the hips slightly (personal preference). I also didn't do any of their cuff options but instead used the cuff from my Wiksten Tova top. I didn't realize the neckline was so low, too low for me. So, next time I will raise it about 2" and maybe shorten the sleeves 3" more to make them 3/4 length.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, I would like to sew it again in a rayon challis.
Conclusion:
I like this loose style and some of the details like the gathers/pintucks. I like that they did not design it too big around the body.
