*This particular pattern is OOP, but Simplicity has recently re-introduced it as 1450.

Pattern Description: These dresses, tops, panties and hats for Toddlers' make the perfect play clothes and are also great for dressing up. All items can be made with a variety of trims and appliques for added fun.

Pattern Sizing: Toddler's 1/2-4. This is a 2.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes.

Were the instructions easy to follow? This is one of those patterns that has a lot of variations, so therefore the instructions skip around a bit. Other than that, yes, they are good.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? This particular pattern has a lot of variety. Also, I just love the classic style with those round yokes.

Fabric Used: The main fabric is twill, and the yoke and pants are some leftover broadcloth.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I used an invisible zip rather than a traditional one. Also, the hat instructs you to encase the seam between the crown and the brim with grosgrain ribbon. I didn't have any of that, so I used 1/2" bias tape instead. It made more sense anyway.

Would you sew it again? Yes I would and I am, but next is the dress.

Would you recommend it to others? Yes! This is a great simple pattern for beginners.

Conclusion: I'm glad Simplicity decided not to permanently retire this pattern. It's too cute and classic to be lost forever!
