Pattern Description:
Close-fitting dress has neckline and pleat variations, elasticized (seamed) waist, and invisible back zipper. C: bias front bodice. Designed for Medium Weight Moderate Stretch Knits.

Pattern Sizing:

B5(8-10-12-14-16), F5(16-18-20-22-24)

I only used the bodice for view C. Based on the finished measurements, I cut a size 20.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?

The bodice looked like the photo but I used a different skirt.

Were the instructions easy to follow?

Yep. From what I read, they seemed easy. I really didn't need them.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?

I love this bodice. The pleats are flattering and there's enough coverage without gaping.

FYI, the waist is short on this dress. I'm a wee bit short-waisted and it fit me fine without an adjustment.

Fabric Used:

Kelly green ponte knit purchased locally from Pacific Fabrics

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:

My inspiration was this dress from Land's End: photo Link to dress on Land's End

To make it work, I used the skirt from Vogue 8944 and make a narrow tie belt.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?

I would definitely sew this again. I was shocked at how quickly I was able to sew it up.

Conclusion:

Love this dress. Very stylish yet comfortable. More info on my blog
