Fabric:Polyester Shantung  [See other projects in this fabric]
Pattern Description: Misses pleated skirt with waistband and side zipper closure. I made view E

Pattern Sizing: Made size 20 and it fits perfectly. As other reviewers have said, this pattern runs a tad small. In skirt patterns I am normally size 16/18.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes it does

Were the instructions easy to follow? They were easy to follow. There is just lots of cutting, marking and sewing especially view E with all the bands.

Tip: Make sure to mark (piece # and name) your pieces as you cut them.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I loved the pleats and the bands. No dislikes.

Fabric Used:. Polyester shantung in white and deep avocado green. Same fabric in 2 colors purchased at Joann's

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I used an invisible zipper. Also added lining. Given the number of seams, it just looked messy in the inside even after I finished the seams (a must). For the lining, I cut a rectangle that was approx 10" more than my hip measurement by the length of the skirt piece. I gathered the lining to fit the waist band and stitched to one half of the folded waist band. See photo.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I would recommend to others. I don't think I will sew this aging only because I have way too may other projects (and patterns) in my queue. But the pattern is definitely a keeper.

Conclusion: I love this skirt. It turned out close to perfect. I am almost afraid to wear it out in the fear it will get dirty.
