This seems like a great pattern and you did a good job! I don't have an embroidery machine either and I just sew little appliques on by hand. Also for fleece, it is easy to just cut out shapes and stitch them on (since it doesn't ravel). Using different colors and layering shapes can look like a little applique. There are some great books out on sewing/embellishing fleece. I have one by Nancy Cornwell that I've really enjoyed. HTH!

This looks so RTW! You can sew on the appliques from Joann's or like Flowermama says make your own by cutting out shapes from other fabrics, then sew on. I think it's perfect just the way it is though...
