Pattern Description:
Shirt or jacket has diagonal side seams angled to the front, soft stand up collar, and set-in sleeves with vent openings. Asymmetric front and back deep hems with mitered corners. Front topstitching detail and five button closure.

Pattern Sizing:
XS - XXL

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes it did.

Were the instructions easy to follow?
The instructions were extremely easy to follow and very well written.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I loved that if I just relaxed and did it their way, it came out great and I learned a new way to do something (ie mitered corners).

Fabric Used:
I used a shot linen that looks purple, but is actually a mix of turquoise and red threads.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I used bigger buttons spaced differently than on the pattern. I wish I had shortened the sleeves a bit, they seem long.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I will definitely sew this pattern again and I enthusiastically recommend it to others.

Conclusion:
This is a very stylish, architectural shirt. it looks like something froma small boutique shop. It sews up quickly and is interesting to sew.

I really like this. I have the pattern and maybe now you have given me the impetus to sew it.

This is also a favorite pattern of mine. I find often SW patterns have sleeves that are too roomy. In this case the length is because the cuff is meant to be turned back. But of course you can shorten the sleeve "next time" and not do that. I've made three of these and really love the look of yours. It was the collar the first time around that made me scratch my head but then I got used to it. LOL
