|Very easy drawstring waist skirts, pants and shorts in 3 lengths: Short, just below knee and full length.|
The skirt is very simple. Just 4 pieces. The bias upper yoke provides sufficient stretch without looking like a paperbag waistline.
I sewed the skirt out of a stretch linen, and sewed two elastic casings into the back yoke. This kept a flat front and snug fit. I added embellishment to the front and an embellished pocket to the back.
I cannot comment on the instructions - did not use them.
I would recommend this pattern for anyone needing a comfortable skirt - regardless of sewing ability....and for beginners who would like a very wearable skirt as one of their first projects.
