Fabric:Wool/Poly Blend  [See other projects in this fabric]
Pattern Description: Raglan sleeve tops with collar variations, 2 sleeve and bodice lengths. I made view B, the boat neck version with the super extra long sleeves from view E.

Pattern Sizing: up to a 20.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? yes.

Were the instructions easy to follow? Very easy. The pattern for view B calls for ribbon to stabilise the neck. The pattern envelope is totally unclear as to what kind of trimming /binding to use, so I used satin bias binding. Otherwise it is a very simple pattern to put together.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? It came together in a couple of hours, start to finish including pattern alterations. It is a flattering style, lots of variations, super easy and a wardrobe staple. I love the really long sleeves - makes a plain sweater a bit funky. This would be a perfect first serger/coverstitch project.

Fabric Used: Wool/poly/acrylic blend jersey in chocolate and gold stripes from The Fabric Warehouse Ltd.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I added 2" in length above the bust and another 2" to the hem. Didn't bother with my usual FBA and the sweater is fairly roomy which is fine. When I make it in t-shirt knit I would size down maybe 2 sizes and then adjust the bust to make it more fitted.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes and yes. A TNT for me.

Conclusion:

Easy, good looking, useful, doesn't use too much fabric. Love it.
