Pattern Description: Shaped peasant top

Pattern Sizing: I made a 12

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes except shorter sleeves

Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Disliked turning the drawstring. Need a gadget. Liked everything else.

Fabric Used: Japanese lawn from Spotlight

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: Lengthened by 3cm (normal alteration for me). Made 1 inch higher at shoulders. On first version I made French seams but decided not to again because it makes side seam alterations difficult. Elbow length sleeves as that is all the fabric I had. Elastic attached to drawstring is too long at the moment. It comes out of the casing but that was me not measuring.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes. Just be careful as I don't think there is enough wearing ease in the arms on the smaller sizes. That's why I made a 12.

Conclusion: Good easy pattern.

I love your top - the colour and the fit, everything! I always double check armhole ease on New Look, I've run into that problem a few time. Great job!
