1.Why did you choose this Pattern Company?
I had seen the O'Keeffe skirt made by Kirsty of Top Notch and Lizzy from Sewbusylizzie so I thought it would be great to try a Sinbad and Sailor pattern.

2. How did you obtain this pattern? (bricks and mortar store, online, downloaded)
This was a pdf download pattern.

3. Did the pattern meet up with your expectations- ie if a PDF was it easy to print. In general was the fit as described, was the pattern a success, company easy to work with?
I've only made this one pair of shorts and it was easy peasy to achieve a good fit.
Hannah (designer) developed these shorts for those of us who need thigh room. I like how she thinks.

4. Was sewing this pattern more or less difficult than other pattern companies? If so, why?
Sinbad and Sailor is a new pattern company and the service you get is very one-on-one.

5. Would you buy another pattern from this company? Why or why not.
Yes.

6. Would you recommend this Pattern Company?
Yes. I think Sinbad and Sailor will come up with some edgy styles in the future.

====================
Pattern Description:
Misses Knit Tops in a few variations. I made View A with short sleeves.

Pattern Sizing:
4 - 16 I made the 10

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes it did.

Were the instructions easy to follow?
The instructions were very handy and easy to follow.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like the v-neckline.
The sleeve variations are handy.

Fabric Used:
I used a mesh fabric for the final version and I lined it with a white poly knit.
The first test version uses a remnant knit (Charlie Brown) from Pitt Trading.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I made the shoulder seams wider.
The top length is 5cm shorter than the pattern.
I did a sway back adjustment to the centre back seam.
Both necklines are narrower too.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
The adjusted pattern isn't a low a v-neckline than I originally got out of the pattern.
This is a very pretty pattern and it $3 to buy at the time.
I made this top to go with the Sinbad and Sailor Raven shorts I made using the mesh in the pocket detail.
