Pattern Description: Baby booties, and misses slippers.
It seems I'm late to the party.

Pattern Sizing:sm, med, lg and based on foot measurements

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow? Read through them once and then yes.
I strongly recommend in step 5 you stay-stitch and clip the sole, before attempting to seam it to the bootie. Just like a princess seam.
Stitch first
Clip and pin
continuing around the curves

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Some great opportunities for customization.

Also, this is Simplicity's distribution of an independent pattern line, 'I Think Sew'. The pattern for just one view on her web site is $4.99 for the PDF. I bought the Simplicity for $1.99 and got 4 baby booties and a Misses slipper.

Fabric Used: Quilting cotton and flannel.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: In my first pair I followed the directions. Yeah, right. In the second pair I did not use the fusible fleece. If you do a good job of fusing it, you can't cut it out of the seams, and then its too bulky.
Flannel as interlining
Can you see the difference in the bulk?

I used the Jiffy Grip as I bothered to buy it, but it seems unlikely a 3 month old needs grip. Especially as the pattern cautions these shoes are NOT FOR WALKING IN. On the 'I Think Sew' web site, none of the booties are shown made with Jiffy Grip.

The red version is made with only quilting cotton and flannel, no interlining. There is batting in the insole, and on the whole the finish came out best on these.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I will try to make the misses slippers later.

Conclusion: More please.
