Pattern Description:
Toddler's Dress and Pinafore - This might be out of print.
Pattern Sizing:
Sizes 1-4 all in one; I probably used a 2, it has been a year ago.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, other than I kind of did my own thing for the pinafore, added lace by hand to the collar and sleeves of the dress, after it was done, because they seemed to be lost in the print.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
The construction was easy enough. I liked the overall finished product.
Fabric Used:
A sort of funky print cotton, purchased at WalMart many, many months ago for $1/yard, plus some white from JoAnn or Hancocks for the pinafore.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I don't remember. Nothing significant other than adding the lace, the embellishment to the pinafore.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I doubt I will sew it again, just because this granddaughter is probably not going to wear this style of dress very often.
It was a labor of love dress, for her 2nd birthday.

Simply adorable! I loved making this kind of dress when my granddaughter was younger, but she did not get much wear out of them. DD has saved every one and calls them "heirlooms". Perhaps for future great-granddaughters? Yes, yours is a labor of love!

It's just beautiful! Ruffles or a pinafore over a dress are my favorites for little girls! I bet it looked adorable on your GD!
