Pattern Description:
Men's and boys' fitted tees with choice of sleeves (short, long or double-layered) and necklines (crew neck or V-neck).

Pattern Sizing:
I love that Jalie patterns go from size 2 in little boys to size 22 in adult men.
I used a size "O" which is an 11 US. T is very small and skinny for his age. The sleeve length and shirt length were too long for him. I ended up folding out 2" from sleeves and shirt on the second and third shirts. Otherwise, no other changes. I did find the armpits to hang a little low on T but he is really just skin/bone on the arms.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
yes, they do!

Were the instructions easy to follow?
The shirt is easy to sew up. Jalie instructions are wonderful and you even get pictures each step of the way. I used my serger for everything except the hems. I used fusible bias tape in the shoulder seams.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love having a basics pattern. Who doesn't love t-shirts? You can even pick V neck or crew neck, long sleeve or short. I love the options!

Fabric Used:
The light blue shirt is a soft cotton jersey with a slight rib. The green shirt is a slinky, thin, rayon jersey. The bright blue is a great cotton jersey with a bit of lycra or spandex.
I have found that I used 3/4 yard in 60 wide for the front, back, and 1 sleeve. Then you need a whole other 3/4 yard for just the one last sleeve to fit This means a bunch of left over fabric.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I ended up folding out 2" from sleeves and shirt on the second and third shirts.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?

It fits great and I'm very happy with it. I plan on sewing more for T as he grows and also some for my husband.

Thanks! and the designs are from freezer paper stencils :) so easy. You print the design from the computer onto the freezer paper, cut out, iron on and paint. Then you peel the paper off when it's dry. Love them!
