Pattern Description: Misses jacket in 4 variations, vest

Pattern Sizing:8-16

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes, I made view A

Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, other than the collar issue discussed in 'alterations'.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Love the bow and single button detail of view A, gives it a vintage feel. Disliked the unfinished took of raw edge fleece.

Fabric Used: Body: fleece. Back of collar, bow: remnant of thin bargain cotton.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: The instructions call for the collar and bow to be cut out of a single layer of fleece and edges left raw. Since my fleece was pretty thin, the collar and bow looked limp and unfinished. I took them off, cut a 2nd piece out of a cotton print, sewed together right sides together, then turned right side out and sewed onto the jacket as instructed. I also added top stitching along the princess seams for added detail.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes I would sew it again. Love the ruffle detail on view B so I'll probably sew it next time. Don't really need too many fleece jackets in CA but it's so cute I couldn't resist.

Conclusion: This is a quick, simple, un-lined jacket pattern with cute feminine details. I cant wait to wear it, that is if we ever get winter in Calif. I'm not complaining...just saying I want to wear my jacket!

Very nice jacket. I like your details with the bow and I'm a fan of top stitching princess seams.

Really cute - love the way you've done the bow detail. I made the ruffle version years ago out of a coating weight wool flannel and it was my favourite until I slimmed out of it. Can't wait to see yours!
