I have made this pattern twice, once in a size S for my daughter and the second time in size L for my husband. I made the S one with very few modifications, just adding a front zipper and hem band to view C. The second time, I tweaked it quite a bit. I covered the shoulder dart inside with rayon seam binding and topstitched it in place. I added a hanging loop made with contrast fabric to the back neck. I added a channel to the hood and inserted a drawstring. I also attached the hood by stitching the lining to the body first, then pressing the seam allowance of the hood up, pinning it in place on the body, then topstitching it in place, basically sandwiching the body between the hood and its lining. Makes a nice clean finish, and you can still apply the front facing pretty much as the pattern directs. I also did not slipstitch the facing, just topstitched the edge by the zipper in place. My husband loves his new hoodie and the fit is great! My daughter hasn't got hers yet, so I'm not sure about the fit.
