Pattern Description:
Version A: a short jacket with a high collar, a curved aperture in the front, and decorated with ruffled trim.

Pattern Sizing:
I made a size 8 and it fit well.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
I have to say that my collar/front piece of my jacket did not lie as neatly as I would have liked it to. The high collar tended to flop over and the curved opening in the front was a little irregular. I ended up putting a snap in the ruffling up near the neck to hold it in place.

Were the instructions easy to follow?

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I absolutely love the silhouette! It reminds me of a cross between a matador and Queen Elizabeth.

Fabric Used:
I used something similar to a black velvet that was embossed/painted with a gold, almost medieval design.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I added a tiny snap to the ruffling at the neckline to hold the collar together under the chin. I also added ruffled trim around the sleeves in addition to the neckline and the bottom hem. I made my own ruffled trim by cutting strips of fabric on the bias, folding them in half, and gathering them.

Really cute pattern! Check out more pictures at my blog!
