Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? The bodice front looked identical to the pattern. I modified the skirt and the bodice back.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, though an inexperienced sewer would benefit from more detail in some sections.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I liked the opportunity to use the various options and create a personal style.
Fabric Used: Synthetic dupioni for the skirt and boned bodice, cotton lace for the bodice overlay.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: To reproduce a style seen on the Bloomingdale's website, I changed the bodice back overlay to a v-neck and added two additional overskirt tiers with pressed pleats.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I would recommend the style to others and might sew it for my daughter again using another variation offered by the pattern, such as the straight skirt and 3/4-length sleeves.
