Pattern Description:
Pullover dress has front and back V neckline, variable ruffled hem lengths, sleeveless or cap sleeves. Also included in the pattern is a purse.

Pattern Sizing:
4 - 16. I made Size 8

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
I altered this pattern to accommodate the look I was after so not exactly.

Were the instructions easy to follow?
I didn't follow the instructions due to my design changes but I read them for the purpose of this review and yes they seemed easy to follow. An experienced sewer wouldn't need them.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Definitely the gathered panels on the skirt. But I bought this pattern to adapt it to the dress I have made.

Fabric Used:
Polyester Crepe for both the top part and the skirt.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:

1) I changed the neckline so it was more rounded at the front and I raised and rounded the back neckline also.
2) I wanted to use 2 different colours so this looked like a top and skirt rather than a dress so I separated the front and back bodice pattern pieces 2" below the waistline and then re-added the seam allowance on.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes I would make this pattern again. It's such a cute style I can see me making it straight from the pattern. Yes I would recommend it, particularly to beginners as it's easy.

The visual interest on this pattern is definitely on the skirt with those feature ruffles. Great easy pattern for a simple, cute summer dress!

Super cute and I really like the idea you did here. Many times I've looked at a skirt and wondered what top to put with it. I can spend a lot of time deciding. LOL...this solves the problem. I like your combination and looks so cute with the country vibe. I can see making ths a variety of ways like you said on the blog. Cute!!!
