Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Mostly. The facing around the neck was a little confusing. And the set-in sleeve directions weren't the easiest, so I just did the flat sleeve technique (I think that's what it's called).
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
It's an easy to sew pattern. But, the directions call for slip stitching in several places and I don't hand sew well. Plus I don't see the point to hand sewing the pockets and hem (for example) so the stitches don't show.
Fabric Used:
Tutti frutti, a colorful poly/cotton seersucker-like fabric. I saw this at Joanne's and had to make something out of it. So I made a dress for my grandniece.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
Other than the sleeves, I didn't change much.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, I would recommend it.
Conclusion:
It's a cute little dress that you can sew together in a few hours.

Very cute dress! I like how you used the polka dot fabric for pockets and sleeves.
