Pattern Description:

Leotard with keyhole back, long sleeve, sweetheart cut, binded neckline with clasp at the back.

Pattern Sizing:

Tots all the way through plus size. Adult sizes have nice shaping for an adult figure.

The one pictured is a size G for my friend's two yearold. I made a size R for myself a while ago.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?

Yes other than my modifications

Were the instructions easy to follow?

Jalie instructions will spoil you for other manufacturers. As a visual learner I really appreciate the diagrams but the wording is also very clear and is written in both French and English

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?

I love the skirt - its the perfect length to be safe but provide some modesty. I also love the cut. The kids sizes offer a bit more bum coverage than the adult sizes and are straight on the sides while the adult sizes are more European cut and come in nicely at the waist.

Fabric Used:

I've made this pattern twice. the pictures are made with some kind of four way stretch knit and a glittery stretch mesh.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:

Ditched the sleeves and changed the back so it didn't have the clasp. On the one I made for myself I made the armholes a bit bigger and made the front and back neckline a bit lower. (I'm not posting pictures of that one because the fabric I used for it was this $3 a metre lycra)

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?

Yes I will sew it lots more times. One can never have too many leotards.

Conclusion:

Awesome pattern.
