Pattern Description:
Dress has gathered skirt, double bodice, extended shoulders that fold back, patch pockets with top edges that fold down, and center back button closure. Hat is double, with six panel crown, brim, and chin straps with Velcro® closure. Hat is reversible. Inside bodice, inside pockets, inside hat, and bloomers are from contrast fabric. Bloomers have elastic in casings at waist and leg openings.
Pattern Sizing:
0-24 mths
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes it did.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
The instructions were good. i just hated the 1/4" SA's. just SO SMALL! But it was fine in the end. Took me 2 hrs to make. only took me so long as I had an epic failure with the bloomers. chose a fabric that was just refusing to co-operate!.. will be doing those another time.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
live the turn of the sleeves to show the contrast from the lining.

Fabric Used:
100%cotton African Wax Print (Ankara)
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I didnt stitch in teh ditch as suggested for the bodice lining. I will be adding lace to the waistline so will do it all together in one go.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?

So the bloomers didnt come out right, and i will get round to the hat eventually, but the dress for now is ever so sweet.

I like how you centered the motifs on the bodice and skirt.

cute dress! I have some african wax print fabric and keep mulling over how to use it. I believe your dress did it justice.
